Our Backland Vest is a waxed cotton insulated vest that adds warmth through the core without binding up your arms. Quilted insulation under a waxed shell handles the cold mornings, and the vest cut leaves you free to work.
We built this one around the details you notice on the tenth wear, not the first. Corduroy lines the inside of the collar and the pocket flaps so nothing scratches. The back hem runs longer than the front for coverage when you bend, and a box-stitch pattern holds the insulation evenly in place instead of letting it drift.
